The Berkeley Chinese Students and Scholars Association is the official Chinese student organization at Berkeley recognized by the Chinese embassy. As the Arts and Cultural Affairs Department Chair, I had the pleasure and responsibility for designing the New Student Welcome Guide, hosting a series of major events, one of which being our Chinese New Year Gala.

An activity in collaboration with the academic development department to match mentors with their respective mentees through a series of fun and interactive activities
Chinese Lunar New Year Gala
Our biggest event of the year, showcases talents, fosters community spirit, and promotes cultural pride within the campus and online. Our online streaming received 3,000 synchronous views.
match-making
A week-long activity between randomly pairs of students completing different tasks in order to match one with their dream partner.
